The Pengelly CE Wind Ltd Fund will for the third year be making grants for projects in St Breock and Wadebridge, with £13,674 available, including an amount not allocated last year.

The fund is for ‘not for profit’ organisations. Projects should provide services or opportunities for disadvantaged people, or enhance and enrich the social, community or cultural life of the area.

The maximum grant for any single project is £1,000, so at least 14 projects can benefit this year.

Previous recipients of grants are welcome to apply again this year – all applications will be considered on their merit. Last year the Fund awarded money to Burlawn Residents’ Association, Cornwall Folk Festival, Cornwall Young Farmers, May Play, St Breock School, Wadebridge Carnival, Wadebridge Community Bus, Wadebridge Primary Academy and Wyndhurst Orchard.

Applications will close Wednesday 31st May. Award decisions will be made by the Fund Panel by the end of June.
