A MIDSUMMER FEAST IN WADEBRIDGE – come and enjoy a feast for the eyes, ears, mind and soul!
This summer WREN and FEAST are delighted to be hosting A Midsummer Feast, in and around the town of Wadebridge, celebrating the meeting-point between arts and energy through a wonderful array of lively community arts events, performances, workshops and exhibitions.
Below are full listings of all the Midsummer Feast events and happenings that are taking place with information on each one. Come and see a fantastic community theatre show, hear some spoken words, enjoy some specially themed music and catch the art trail that is appearing all around Wadebridge between June 21st – 26th.
That’s not all! You can also get more involved… If you want to write, to create and submit an art work for the Art trail, or even sing a weather-themed song to a live and appreciative audience, then please get in touch!
There’s something for everyone, and we hope you can come and be part of our Feast this Midsummer! You can contact us on email@example.com for more information on art and writing opportunities and you can buy tickets for most events either at Wadebridge Bookshop (cash or cheque only) or at www.crbo.co.uk 01726 879500.

Spend a day with writer/performance poet Matt Harvey in an energy-themed workshop in three parts, cunningly spread over two sessions... Matt says: “First we’ll write together, trying out different approaches to writing and generating material via high pressure, low-expectation exercises, then there’ll be time for one-to-one attention to look at work in progress; and finally we’ll spend time on presenting and performing work, exploring the edge of confidence and diffidence.”
Some workshop participants will be offered the subsequent opportunity to further brush up their performance skills with vocal coach Morwenna Gee and to perform their work at the Midsummer Feast Cabaret Night - A Feast of Words - on the evening of the 21st June at the Ship Inn or at A Feast For the Ears, a Spot the Dog special at Hewitts Bar and Kitchen on 22nd June.
