WREN has been granted £2,000 by the Naturesave Trust towards the cost of a new solar PV array.

The array is adjacent to the South West Water Nanstallon sewage treatment works and was developed by WREN to supply electricity to the works, enabling South West Water to reduce its electricity costs and its carbon footprint. The array will form part of the the solar portfolio of Wadebridge Energy Company (WEC).

WREN is very pleased to have this recognition from the Naturesave Trust, which was set up in 1995 to fund specific environmental, conservation and community energy projects throughout the UK. More information about the Naturesave Trust can be found here.
