Sunshine Tariff Trial

Sunshine Tariff is an exciting trial to

• 
   Reduce electricity bills
  •    Take better advantage of UK's renewable generation
  •    Winter tariff (until 31 March 2016) – Evolution tariff
  13.4p per kilowatt hour
  •    Summer tariff (1 April 2016 to 30 September 2016 inclusive) – Sunshine tariff
  5p per kilowatt hour (10am to 4pm)
  18p per kilowatt hour (4pm to 10am)

  •    Transparent and accurate electricity bills with a new smart meter
  •    More decarbonised electricity (cleaner generation instead of polluting fossil-fuel generation)
  •    No exit fees

The participants are split into the following Groups
Group 1: It's up to you: 
We provide some handy energy tips at the start.

Group 2: Notifications:
We provide some tips at the start, and during the trial we remind the customer of many easy ways to save money, and provide demand shifting feedback.

Group 3: Immersion heater only:
We’ have installed immersion heater timers set between 10am and 4pm.

Group 4: As many electrical devices as you have:
For devices such as an electric storage heater, air-conditioning, heat pump, water heating, underfloor heating or electric vehicle charging we use a smart controller to connect to the cheapest possible electricity.

We will respect your property:

• We will tidy up after we have installed the smart meter and any other equipment at your property and make sure things are as we found them

We will respect your rights:

• Your data will only be used for the project’s learning and Tempus Energy’s usual business activities as an electricity supplier
• You can ask for a copy of any information we hold about you at any time. We’ll provide it free within 21 days and, where possible, in the format you want
• You have the right to leave the trial at any time
